I love everything lemon, go big lemon or go home!  This lemon meringue pie is a standard in my spring lineup.

This is a recipe I had not made for decades, and then, this March 2026 I went to my sisters and she had it.  I had totally forgotten about this recipe and really liked it.

Who doesn’t like biscuits? I love them and this is one of the best recipes for them I’ve found.

I made this for the first time last night and it was absolutely delicious.  I like it better than the red sauce lasagna to my surprise. 

I made Chocolate Mousse for the first time last night and it was delicious.  It was smooth, rich, dark, and so good. 

I use the whole egg.  I go through a lot of eggs baking.  Egg shells are a great source of calcium and other things so I started saving them. I use the whole egg nowt from shell to yolk to white!

I am not much of a beef eater but I love this Beef Stroganoff recipe.  It is creamy and delicious over buttered noodles.

I make soups and gravies all of the time when I cook in my crock pot. This Chicken Bone broth makes great soups and gravy.

My two girls, when they were little, loved these cookies.  They are very much like a chocolate chip cookie only with oatmeal in them.  They are really good. 

I have always loved crackers of all sorts.  I saw this cheese crackers recipe and thought I would try it.  So happy I did, as these are excellent little crackers and so easy to make too.

I try to make all of my own bread from hamburger buns, to rolls, to loaf breads.  I am allergic to the preservatives in the store bought bread.

My sister, who is an excellent cook, found this recipe years ago and it is one of my favorite wintertime dishes to serve.  It is warm and worth the work it takes to make it. 

I absolutely love this dessert. It is easy to make and so good.  Pudding, cream cheese, whipping cream, pecans, butter what’s not to like?

When I was staying with my sister for a visit last October, she made this for dinner one night.  It blew me away! You should really try this one!

Apple Crisp is one of those things I have to have at least once in the Fall or Winter of every year.  It is warm, and with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is so good.

I love gumdrop nougat candy.  Brach’s makes them and I used to buy them all the time.  Just a few pieces as I didn’t want to have too much sugar in my diet. This recipe is a close approximation of Brach's Nougats.

I absolutely love English Muffins.  Used to buy them but then found out how easy it is to make them! 

My sister makes this every year to put on her Christmas trays and it is one of her most requested items.  I made it for the first time this year and it is really easy to make and add to my Christmas trays.   

I have been making this coffee cake for more than a decade.  It is very rich and so delicious.  My Pastor’s wife loves this one!!
