Old school recipes, from the MidWest and beyond

Hi there! I’m Tracy Lingenfelser, the 5th child of seven born to my parents in the beautiful Great Plains of the US.  Growing up in Kansas with 6 sisters and one brother, my mom was a great cook and baker and is where I got my love of baking. Cooking not so much.  Baking is science, cooking is art, and I tend to be more science! My mom would always have some tasty snack waiting for all of us after we got home from school. My mom is gone now, died at 99 ½ in June of 2024.  Her recipes and love of baking live on and are her sweet and tasty legacy.
