I got this recipe from a coworker years ago.  It is one of my most requested recipes.  This is also pretty easy to make and absolutely the best caramel corn recipe I’ve ever found.

This stuff is one of my family’s best recipes.  It was the brainchild of my brother-in-law, who, sadly, passed away from bone cancer in 2020.  His recipe lives on and rightly so.  My brother-in-law’s legacy.

Whoopie pies can be made with all sorts of different flavors. I have made oatmeal, red velvet, and now chocolate.  They are rich and delicious.  You can make them large or small and bite size. Make green filling for Saint Patrick’s Day and Red filling for Valentine’s Day.

I love fat sugar cookies covered with buttercream icing. I make them for Christmas, Valentines Day, Saint Patrick’s Day, Easter, and Halloween. They are really very easy to make, they just take a little time.

I have only made this recipe once before, but it is a fantastic recipe for the peanut butter and chocolate lovers in your life. A great homemade treat for them for Valentine’s Day.

I love green sauce on tamales, tacos and in my chicken empanadas. Red sauce can cause me some stomach issues as I get older.  Green sauce it is.  You can heat this up or dial the heat down to your tastes.  It is a fantastic sauce.

I am a scratch baker. With the exception of one cake that is from mix and then fixed way up. This chocolate cake recipe is one of the easiest and best chocolate cakes. It is truly chocolatey. A scratch cake for a less experienced baker. It is my go-to chocolate cake.

I have been making these biscuits for years.  I don’t remember where I got the recipe but it is a very good one.  These are fluffy and delicious with jam, or honey.  

I have made this easy Strawberry Filling for years as a cupcake filling mostly, but also on ice cream.  It is a delicious filling and is so easy to make.

This is a stew that my aunt Joanne made and it is really delicious. It is one of my favorite meals in the winter months. I serve it over slices of bread, or biscuits as the mood strikes me. It is a warm and inviting stew.

Potato Soup was a winter fixture in our monthly menu when I was a kid.  Today, I had some potatoes left from a 5 pound bag and so I made potato soup because we are having an unusually cold winter here in New Mexico.  I love this stuff.  It is rich, and warm and soothing. Try it today!

Snickerdoodles are an old fashioned cookie but one that has stood the test of time.  They are very good cookies and so easy to make too.  Make some tonight and see for yourself!

I have been making these shortbread cookies for years.  I used to make them at Christmas time and distribute them to friends, but have not done that for a few years.  They are really rich cookies, with a sharp bite from the raspberry filling. Beautiful cookies too

This stuff is so good.  It is sweet and a little cinnamon and served warm with ice cream it is a very hard to beat dessert. It is also delicious cold served like a topping for ice cream.  You all should definitely try this one. 

These rolls are really very good, fluffy dinner rolls and easy bread to make too.  I make these usually to take to a Wednesday night Bible study as it does make 16 rolls. A great roll to make for any dinner for the family.
