FLAKY BAKING POWDER BISCUITS
I love biscuits of all kinds. This is one of the best biscuit recipes I have ever made. It is fluffy and delicious. They are really good with jelly, butter, apple butter, or honey. They are very easy to make as well.
My oldest daughter went to university in London, and I went out for her graduation. She was living in a house with a bunch of men. She had been trying to explain American biscuits to them but they really had no idea. When I was there I made them American biscuits, this recipe, and they were mystified. I made some up with jelly, and some with honey and served them. They loved them. I passed this recipe out to Brits, Irish and Scots. Now it is an international recipe. :)
Now it’s your turn to try these biscuits and pass it on if you desire.
I have been making these biscuits for years. I don’t remember where I got the recipe but it is a very good one. These are fluffy and delicious with jam, or honey.
