Fantasy Fudge

Fantasy Fudge, this recipe was developed by Kraft and put on the label of their Marshmallow Cream jar.  It is a really easy, and really fantastic fudge recipe.  It goes together quickly.

I have made this Fudge recipe for years and years. Occasionally I try to make fudge the hard way, but it is usually not as good and way more work. This also can be made any time of the year.  You want fudge, you make it. That simple

Fantasy Fudge was named in a different era, as I know it is kind of a funny name for Fudge in this day and age.  Why Fantasy? I mean fudge is good, but somehow for me,  Fantasy is not what I would call a fudge.  Oh well. It is a crazy name and memorable.  Try it today.

This has been my familys’ standard fudge recipe for years.  It is so easy to make, it is creamy and, well, fudgey.

3 Cups Granulated Sugar

¾ Cups Margarine

⅔ Cups Evaporated Milk

1 12 oz. package Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

1 Cups Pecans or Walnuts, chopped

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Directions

  1. Prepare a 9X13 pan either with parchment paper, tin foil sprayed with cooking spray or just spray the pan with cooking spray.  Set aside.

  2. In a large saucepan, over medium heat, mix sugar, margarine and evaporated milk. Bring this mixture to a boil and then boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

  3. Mix in the chocolate chips and stir until they are all incorporated into the mixture. Stir in marshmallow cream and vanilla extract.

  4. Transfer the fudge to the pan, and let cool for 1 to 2 hours before cutting into small portions.
